Lizzie Lowe Embroidery 

Lizzie Lowe's collection is inspired by tailoring from the late 80's early 90's, with styling references to Lawrence of Arabia. The layering of hand-crafted loosely tailored garments creates a relaxed feeling within this modular collection. 'Mid Century Muted' is a celebration of British craftsmanship, with each piece taking several hundreds of hours to complete by hand.

 

Lizzie's collection is entirely hand embroidered and pushes the creative boundaries of the traditional whitework technique 'drawn thread work'. A method that was extremely popular in 18th and 19th century Britain.

The fabrics used are dead-stock supplied by an interior studio in London. Sustainability and reduction of industrial waste is paramount
