San Kim’s collection is inspired by a compilation of D.I.Y. masks made during Coronavirus pandemic. Shortage of face masks prompts people to come up with novel ways to combat the virus. This collection particularly highlights the mask made out of supermarket plastic bags.

The designer was also forced to use the same materials because he created the collection at the same time, same place, and same situation. San tried to reflect the era as honestly as possible and retouched them through his iconic inflatable design. 

Silhouette of the collection is based on sculptures and costumes of the Space Era in the '60s. Just as the space era coexisted with unpredictable fear and positive energy to accept the future, this collection also contains a desire to overcome fear and regain positive energy during this difficult time.
